I sent mine off yesterday but I wish I read the Trust Pilot reviews!!
Apparently male dna can really easily contaminate the test!
I made sure I was on my own- I used disinfectant and bleach to wipe down the package and surface- washed my hands etc.
I had a hot bath and scrubbed my nails with the brush etc loads!
I didn't even touch a towel just in case 😂 I ran downstairs naked without touching anything to then get the inside of the test kit out and to then do the blood etc.
I found it so hard for the blood not to go under my nail! The blood was so fast flowing.
So it's probably contaminated 😂
Guess I'll find out in a week!!!
Any other people had success with these?

I've just done my blood test and found it impossible to stop it flowing over my nail too! Got everything as clean as can be and on my own, so hoping I managed not to contaminate it.
Did everyone send theirs back via a post office? Just wondering if I can just put it into a post box (I know that means it won't track, but I'm fine without that if it means I can avoid the post office queues).

Much better to have a Harmony test to get a result you can trust. I had mine done at 10wks so knew the sex by 12wks.
@littlepeaegg, when you did Ramzi, which scan picture did you use that gave you a boy answer? Because if you used any scan after 8wks that was done across your belly then you need to flip the image. If your scan was trans vaginal then no need to flip. (They only usually do TV scans prior to 8wks)
I’ve yet to hear of an incorrect Ramzi scan when using a pic taken under 12wks and reading it correctly. It’s fascinating.

@GinaJaffacake I'll be 12 weeks on Sunday. We were going to do the Harmony test but I don't think we will now. Neither of us are high risk etc.
My scan I used was a vaginal and just over 7 weeks!

After some research apparently lots of people have been told it's a girl when it's been a boy too. I'm so sad now! Apparently if there isn't enough fetal blood in yours then boy won't show! I was 10wk 5 when I did the test.
Panicking now as told family it's a girl!!

I had the sneak peek test done but the blood was drawn at their clinic. The result was girl but I have a scan tomorrow at almost 18 weeks so i'm hoping they will be able to confirm.

@littlepeaegg, these tests are not scientific. You cannot rely on them at all. They were wrong in my case and lots of others. It is a scam which is why they change their name every few years. If you want a scientific result have a harmony/panoramic test. Or just wait until you’re 16wks and ask the sonographer. From my experience, Ramzi is far more scientific than this nonsense as it was developed by a Canadian OB/Gyn. And even he says that although he’s convinced it’s accurate, more scientific data is needed.
I’d never announce the sex of my baby to family and friends based on a cheap unscientific scam. If it turns out that you are having a girl that will just be coincidence. I’m sorry you’re distressed by it but it’s notoriously inaccurate. A little Google of its name and its previous name, pink or blue gender testing will tell you all you need to know.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. I hope it all goes well.

@GinaJaffacake according to website I used with my scans the ramzi theory says girl and then the 12 week scan nub theory says boy
I wonder which is more accurate ?

@surreymum89, whilst I have seen more accurate results including my own, with Ramzi than these tests, it’s still not been subjected to rigorous scientific process so can’t claim scientific accuracy at this time. I certainly didn’t take my Ramzi result as a definite.
If you want to be sure, have a NIPT test such as Harmony which will confirm whether the main Trisomies are present and also the sex of the baby. Or just wait until 20wks or birth!

@littlepeaegg its a boy! 😊 I had a feeling its was so I'm happy with that. Although don't 100% believe it so we shall see in another 6 weeks at the gender scan. X

It's a boy for me! I'll be having the Harmony test in a few weeks so I'll come back and update to see if it was accurate.
I just see this test as a little fun, so no worries if it turns out to be wrong. I haven't even told my family I'm pg yet (I'm 9 weeks) and I wouldn't tell them about this. I actually didn't realise the Harmony test confirmed the sex of the baby, I was always going to have it as I'm over 40.
